The period is over and the Wings were able to take away ALL momentum that the Avs had in that period. The scored 47 second apart late in the period (inside 2 minutes) to take a commanding, although scary, 3-1 lead. Now they have to worry about the opening 5-10 minutes in the 2nd period. The Avs are going to come out desperate. This has been a strong series and the Avs have played good hockey so far, but they need LEGENDARY hockey right now. They're not done yet, but cue that proverbial fat lady (knock on wood!)
